The City Attorney's office does not provide legal advice to citizens. If you need legal advice, please contact a private attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, Gulfcoast Legal Services and the Community Law Program (CLP) offer pro se, pro bono programs for citizens who meet the income requirements. The Pinellas County Clerk's Office, working with Gulfcoast, CLP and the Judiciary now offers affordable legal assistance to pro se litigants in civil court cases at the legal Self Help Centers. There are no income requirements to use the Self Help Centers. Please visit the program's Web site for more information, or call 727-464-5150 in Clearwater or 727-582-7941 in St. Petersburg. |
