A message from the Fire Chief:

Maintaining strict professionalism and ensuring the safety of our personnel are two important goals of the department. When you ask another man or woman to risk their safety to help you perform your duties, it adds another dimension to supervision and leadership. Leadership skills and experience don't mean anything if your team members won't line up behind you and say, "OK, let's go." For me, that's priority number one. What I enjoy most is the sense of pride when people belong to a fire service organization where employees are happy to come to work and perform their best.

As Fire Chief, my job is to look ahead, and to proactively prepare for the emergency service needs of our Clearwater citizens. Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel will continue to provide EMS, fire suppression, marine response, and technical rescue services to the best of our ability.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue is growing and enhancing it's services daily. We're bringing new techniques to our training program and building facilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency to meet the needs of the citizens of Clearwater. Also, in response to the evolving needs of the community, we are continuously working to improve our Web site in an effort to be responsive to our customers. We welcome you to browse our site and provide us with any feedback that you feel would better serve you and the community.

Thanks and stay safe!
