Clearwater Greenprint
"Clearwater Greenprint," a citywide mobility and sustainability vision and framework for action
The Planning & Development Department kicks off Clearwater Greenprint this summer! This important community project will explore ways to increase the energy-efficiency of our neighborhoods, business districts and transportation system, while enhancing economic competiveness, livability and overall quality of life in Clearwater. Strategies contained in Clearwater Greenprint will guide policy changes to the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Community Development Code.
The City is currently seeking citizens, business owners and other Clearwater stakeholders for a Clearwater Greenprint steering committee. The committee should collectively represent different perspectives, experiences and cultures of the people who live and work in Clearwater. Applicants should possess a desire to improve quality of life in Clearwater, and have the ability to consider long-term possibilities. Applications are due to the City by July 14, 2010.
- Press Release - read the "Call For Applications For City Mobility And Sustainability Committee" press release (6/24/10).
