Upcoming Clearwater Library Holiday Programs

Music of the Holidays with the Florida Suncoast Chorus
Sunday, Dec. 3, 2-3 p.m.
Countryside Library, 2642 Sabal Springs Dr.
Enjoy your favorite holiday music at the Countryside Library with a choral performance by the Florida Suncoast Chorus.


Gift Wrapping Class: Learn How to Properly Wrap Presents
Tuesday, Dec. 5, 4:30-6 p.m.
Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
Bring your holiday gifts and join us for this special class on how to properly wrap your presents. Wrapping paper, tape, bows and scissors will be provided, but you must wrap your own presents. Please feel free to bring your own wrapping paper or materials.

Holiday Storytime
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 4-6 p.m.
Beach Library, 69 Bay Esplanade
During the program, families will be able to build, frost and decorate their own gingerbread houses in a festive setting with music and games. They will also be joined, straight from the North Pole, by Mrs. Santa Claus, who will entertain them with a story or two. Registration is required.

Suncoast Barbershop Chorus Holiday Program
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Beach Library, 69 Bay Esplanade
Tap your toes to old-fashioned tunes with the time-honored musical style of close barbershop harmony as they perform a variety of holiday songs and invite you to sing along.  Fun for the whole family. 

No-Sew Sock Snowman Craft
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 6-7 p.m.
North Greenwood Library, 905 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
Join in celebrating the wintertime by making an adorable sock snowman at the library with Miss Sarah. Registration is required. 

  

Ugly Sweater Decorating Party
Friday, Dec. 15, 3-4:30 p.m.
Beach Library, 69 Bay Esplanade
Scissors, glue, pom-poms, glitter, tinsel…oh my! Kick off the holiday season in style by making the tackiest sweater you can imagine. All materials will be provided, but bring your own shirt or sweater for your preferred fit.

 

Broke Christmas
Monday, Dec. 18, 5-6:30 p.m.
Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
Wanna give your loved one a present this year, but your budget doesn’t match your desires?  We’re here to help.  Come to this program and make a card and present for that special someone. Registration is required. Ages 10-18.

 

Make A Gingerbread House
Tuesday, Dec. 19, 5-6:30 p.m.
Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
Registration is required for this family craft night. One gingerbread house can be made per family. Materials are provided. Have fun decorating your gingerbread house with the whole family.

 

Holiday Crafts
Wednesday, Dec. 20, 3-4 p.m.
Countryside Library, 2642 Sabal Springs Dr.
Create a holiday light and help decorate the youth room. All ages are welcome.
