Upcoming February Clearwater Aging Well Center Programs

 

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Aging Well Center, located in the Long Center at 1501 N. Belcher Road, will host a variety of upcoming programs. For more information or to pre-register, call (727) 724-3070.

Highlights include:

Crystals
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1-2 p.m.
Michael Marshall will be discussing how crystals are used for Feng Shui, Chakra balancing, purifying, clearing negative energy and more. Free.

Barrier Island History
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2-3 p.m.
Join Lance Peterson from the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum as he talks about Egmont Key, Fort DeSoto and the Reddingtons. Learn about who lived here and how the islands were developed. Free. Pre-registration is preferred.

Living Well: Heart And Valve Conditions
Wednesday, Feb. 21, noon-1 p.m.

Most people want to remain living in their homes for as long as they can. But will their homes safely age along with them? The AARP HomeFit Workshop, part of AARP Livable Communities programming, teaches people how to make modifications to their homes, thereby allowing them to safely “age in place.” Free.
