Downtown Boat Slips Grand Opening Celebration

Description:  The event will include speeches by city officials and representatives from the agencies that have worked to ensure the success of the project. Refreshments will be served. The completed project includes 126 boat slips, 1,700 feet of overnight space for visitors, 700 feet of space for daytime visits and special events that are happening in the downtown area. The daytime space is free.

Description:  Preschool Music Program for children ages 1-4. Sing some of your favorite nursery rhymes with a twist. Incorporates colors, letters, and number recognition in songs. Sign and foreign languages also taught using parachutes and rhythm methods. Tuesdays 12-12:45 starting Sept. 7. Four week sessions $15 w/Play Pass, $20 w/Rec Card, $25 without a card.

Description:  CLEARWATER, Fla. – Tim Dorsey, former Tampa Tribune reporter and author of a popular quirky Florida crime novel series, will be featured at the inaugural Cleveland Street Book and Wine Festival in Station Square Park on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 4 to 9 p.m. The festival, a large used book sale sponsored by the Clearwater Downtown Development Board, is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Clearwater Library.

Description:  Presented by the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clearwater, A Taste of Clearwater will take place at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Thursday, Sept. 23, 5 p.m. Featuring tastings from Clearwater’s finest eateries and starring Suite Caroline. Reserved tickets priced at $50 for adults and $25 for students will be available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Rd or by calling 791-7400.
