Description:  Register Now! Boys and girls ages 7-15 of all skill levels learn fundamentals of basketball with Coach Joe O'Neill. Session 1: June 8-12 Session 2: Aug. 3-7. 9am-5pm daily. Register before May 1 and receive a $20 discount.

Arbor Day Celebration & Tree Giveaway

Description:  Join us for the city's Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Giveaway! 1,800 trees will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis. Residents can receive two free trees per household and can choose from various tree species. Proof of residency is required. This is the 27th year that Clearwater has been named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.

Celebrate the Environment through Service

Description:  The City of Clearwater Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate Earth Day (April 22), Global Youth Service Day (April 25) and National Volunteer Service Week (April 19-25). Volunteers will be removing debris and invasives from N.E. Coachman Park. Water, snacks and all tools and supplies provided. Dress for the outdoors and wear closed-toed shoes.

National Scrapbook Day

Japanese Culture and Lantern Festival

Description:  This family-friendly event will celebrate the City of Clearwater's 50th anniversary with sister city Nagano, Japan. Taiko drums, martial arts, bonsai, sumi-e painting, kimono, origami and other aspects of the Japanese culture will be featured as well as the lighting of the lanterns. The festival is FREE and open to the public.

“Moonlight in Monte Carlo” Casino Night

Description:  Presented by the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin, Inc. The event will feature Las Vegas style gaming tables, entertainment, music, dancing, food from local restaurants, chocolate desserts, and Silent and Live Auctions. All proceeds to benefit the signature community project, “A.N.G.E.L.S.” for foster families.
