This series is published by American Girl brings the history of
the United States to life. Each title is independent and do not need to be read
in order. The stories all take place at different times and places in American
history, with a girl protagonist leading the way to solving a mystery. These are
interesting stories that give a good idea about what life was like in different
periods of history, especially for girls. These books are a move-up for readers
who enjoyed the American Girls books. Readers
may also enjoy the Dear America Series or
the Nancy Drew Mystery Series.
