Officiating and Score Keeping

Officials wanted for youth and adult leagues for softball, basketball, lacrosse, field hockey, and flag football. Contact Bill Lueders, 669-1361, x240.

Do you enjoy sports, but can't or don't play anymore? Would you like to get paid for doing something you love? Can you be fair, unbiased, and maintain your composure under pressure?

Learn officiating and score keeping of sports through training with our staff. We offer flexible scheduling that fits your individual needs. Regardless of past experience, we will assist you in becoming an official with the City of Clearwater’s sports programs.

We offer an excellent umpire training program free for any current and former players who would like to become A.S.A. qualified umpires or scorekeepers. Our officials attend a one-day clinic each year, and several mandatory meetings to keep current with rule changes, mechanics and positioning, as well as working with players and coaches philosophies.
