Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What can I watch on C-VIEW TV besides Council and Municipal Board Meetings? A: C-VIEW TV cablecasts "more than meetings." Below are descriptions of some of the shows listed we produce. BlueLine
CPD City Bulletin
Board City Talk Q: What do C-VIEW TV's "call letters" stand for? A: Think of it as a "view" of Clearwater. The "C" of course, represents Clearwater - our sparkling City. Back To TopQ: How can I find out what's on C-VIEW TV? A: The C-VIEW TV schedule is available here on the City of Clearwater Web site. Back To TopQ: How can I get a DVD copy of a meeting or a show on C-VIEW TV? A: The easiest and fastest way is to tape it from your home with your own DVD recorder. Otherwise you can send us your request with a check made out to the City of Clearwater in the amount of $15. The address is: C-VIEW TV or e-mail your request to C-VIEW TV staff. We also offer an online request form. Turnaround time is usually within 2 weeks, depending on the volume of requests at a particular time. Back To TopQ: Is there any way to learn what is on the Council's agenda for a particular meeting? A: C-VIEW TV will "scroll" the agenda just prior to the meeting's official proceedings. Agendas for upcoming City Council meetings are also available on the City of Clearwater web site from the Official Records and Legislative Services Department. The Official Records and Legislative Services Department publishes the agendas on Tuesday afternoons prior to Thursday evening Council meetings and will be happy to answer any questions you may have pertaining to items which appear on the agenda (727-562-4090). Back To TopQ: Is the channel close-captioned for the hearing impaired? A: C-VIEW TV is pleased to report that all evening Council meetings are close-captioned. This is one more step that the City is taking to make services and facilities accessible to all residents and visitors of Clearwater. |
