City Talk

City Talk Logo City Talk, a 30-minute show, gives you - the viewer - an opportunity to pose questions to members of the Clearwater City Council. One councilmember will be featured on each show, on a monthly rotating basis, to answer questions affecting Clearwater residents. If you have a question or concern you would like addressed, you can submit to citytalk@myclearwater.com, or call the C-View studio line at 562-4646. Catch the latest show the second Monday of each month from 7 - 7:30 p.m. For a complete list of replay dates, check out the program guide.

Beach Walk Future

Beach Walk is now officially open. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Beach Walk promenade, taking in the wonderful views of our world-renowned beaches and beautifully landscaped areas. Bicyclists, skaters, joggers are already enjoying the new amenities.

Citizen's Academy

Applications are being accepted for the seventh annual Citizen's Academy, a ten-week program providing citizens with hands-on learning experience about the people, equipment and infrastructure it takes to run Pinellas County's second-largest city. The program will be Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m., September 2nd to November 14th and is open to all Clearwater residents.

Beach Development

In an effort to encourage mid-sized hotel development on Clearwater Beach, the planning department will proposed an ordinance increasing density for overnight accommodation at the July 17th Council meeting. The change is to the city's Beach by Design plan and is intended to be an incentive for additional hotel development.
