Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified to submit a bid for construction work within the City of Clearwater.
Please read the following instructions:
At the bottom of this page you will find a link to an application form, which needs to be submitted along with other documents for the pre-qualification to be processed.
Your attention is called to the following four (4) items which must accompany the application:
- A current financial statement completed within the past year.
- Three current letters of reference (include contractors' performance on the project).
- List of major projects completed/active within the past three (3) years (each project is to include type of work, dollar volume, contact name, phone/fax number/email address of project representative or owner.
- Copies of all current contractor licenses.
All of the above items must be received before review of the application can begin. For contractors interested in any particular project, the complete pre-qualification package must be received prior to Contractors submitting bids. Contractor needs to allow ample time for the City to review and research pre-qualification package. Please allow at least 10 working days for response.
All qualifications must be met and approved prior to submitting a bid.
