Roadside Memorial Marker Program

City of Clearwater Council adopted a new initiative called: Road Memorial Marker Program

Drive Safely Sign

Any person that has died as a result of a motor vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle crash on segments of roadways within incorporated Clearwater City Limits is eligible to have a memorial sign erected in his or her honor.

The purpose of this program is to establish the guidelines for the placement of standardized roadside memorials for people that have died as a result of a motor vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle crash within City maintained right-of-way on segments of roadway in incorporated Clearwater.

Anyone, who would like to request a sign posted within City right-of-way should apply in writing, complying to the Roadside Memorial Marker Program Policy Statement.

After reading the above mentioned document please fill the Roadside Memorial Sign Application and send it to:
