City of Clearwater Vertical & Horizontal Control Network Datum
Vertical Control Network:
North American Vertical Datum of 1988 based on the following Brass Disk:
TIDAL B.M. designated 872 6724 A TIDAL
A First Order, Class II vertical control Disk,
located in the State of Florida, Pinellas County, N.G.S. Quad – Clearwater (1987),
set flush in the concrete seawall at the northwest corner of
Clearwater Marina Harbor, 12’ east of the east curb of Gulfview Blvd.,
N.A.V.D. 1988 Elevation = 1.206(meters) / 3.9567(feet)
as published by the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration,
National Ocean Service on July, 26th 2005 as part of Station I.D.# 8726724 of N.O.A.A. Chart #11412, PID #AG7196.
City of Clearwater Vertical Control Network was executed through differential leveling, then subsequently balanced by
a least squares adjustment software program;
performed by the City of Clearwater, Engineering Department - Land Survey Division.
Horizontal Control Network:
North American Datum 83(1999),
Florida State Plane Coordinates, Florida West Zone 83(1999),
derived via G.P.S. Simultaneous Rapid Static Triangulation, using the following N.G.S. published monuments:
N.G.S. Monument PCDSM GPS 78, PID- DF5853 (as published on July 23rd, 2003)
N.G.S. Monument PCDSM GPS 46, PID- DF5779 (as published on August 12th, 2003)
N.G.S. Monument PCDSM GPS 13, PID- DF5792 (as published on February 24th, 2005)
City of Clearwater Horizontal Control Network G.P.S. collection data was subsequently processed by a software program;
which balanced, adjusted, then converted the entire network values simultaneously;
performed by the City of Clearwater, Engineering Department - Land Survey Division.
