Island Estates Yacht Club Boat Parade

This annual parade is held in memory of Island Estates Yacht Club members who died during the year. The decorated boats will assemble in Mandalay Channel located between Island Estates and Clearwater Beach at 6:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the lead boat will proceed northward through Mandalay Channel. Then the parade will weave in and out of many of the Island Estate canals before heading over to Coachman Park around 8:00 p.m. From there the boats will go under the new Memorial Causeway Bridge turning into the Clearwater Marina Channel before navigating to the Clearwater Yacht Club. Cash and gift certificate prizes, donated by many area businesses, will be awarded to the best-decorated boats.
Outback Bowl Beach Day

Hilton Clearwater Beach, 400 Mandalay Ave. • 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Join the teams, their marching bands and cheerleaders as they enjoy the sun and beaches at the Hilton Clearwater Beach next to Pier 60. This fun day includes live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war and other contests from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
After Beach Day stick around for Sunsets at Pier 60 featuring artisans, music and more while you watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico.
Championship Beach Bash Presented by Visit St. Petersburg Clearwater

This free, family-friendly event will create a pep rally-type atmosphere on the beautiful white sand of Clearwater Beach. The Championship Beach Bash will feature a “Kids Zone” with games, inflatables, live music and more.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

North Greenwood Recreation & Aquatic Complex, 900 N. MLK Jr. Ave, to Coachman Park, 301 Drew St. 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration includes a breakfast at the North Greenwood Recreation Center followed by a 10 a.m. march from the Recreation Center to Coachman Park. $5 Adults, $3 Kids 10 & under. Table reservations available for a $40 donation (Table seats 8).
Clearwater Blues Walk
Friday, February 17
The Annual Clearwater Blues Walk will kick off the Blues Weekend. On Friday night there will be live blues music, and restaurants will be offering “Sea-Blues” themed dinner and drink specials all night. Head downtown to begin the weekend, and see what Cleveland Street has to offer.

Enjoy the eleventh annual Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival for two seafood and blues filled days. Saturday’s performers include JJ Grey & Mofro, The Record Company, The Sheepdogs, The Congress, The Ries Brothers, and Bear & Robert. Sunday’s performers include Walter Trout, Sonny Landreth, Mike Zito, Selwyn Birchwood, The Betty Fox Band, and Souliz. Schedule and artists subject to change.

Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival

Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is a ten-day beach wide celebration that pays tribute to Tampa Bay's two most valuable assets, our sugar sands and sunsets! Head to the beach and enjoy these free activities for all ages, including a children's play area, street performers, artisans and crafters, live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes, speed sand demonstrations, master sand sculpting competition.The showcase of the Sugar Sand Festival is the main attraction — The Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit. This ticketed exhibit can only be seen once a year, and no two years are alike. Stroll through a 21,000 square-foot tent filled with sand-sculpted art crafted by world-class sculptors using Clearwater’s internationally famous sugar sand. These aren’t sandcastles — they’re premiere works of art. Don’t forget your camera!
Iron Girl Clearwater

Fun ‘n Sun Clearwater

The city of Clearwater has hosted the Fun ‘n Sun Clearwater for more than 60 years. This annual event was originally created to encourage tourists to lengthen their stay in Clearwater. Currently, it’s a celebration of Clearwater and its many attractions. This year’s events will feature live music, outdoor events, cultural events, Clearwater beach events, sports tournaments, and much more.
