    The city of Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is holding a public meeting to discuss the vision for a Public Market Place (Mercado) in the Downtown Gateway. Join city staff from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the TSM Kitchen & Bar, 1230 Cleveland St., to share your thoughts and ideas for the Public Market Place (Mercado) in the Downtown Gateway.

  • Kick Off Celebration Set for Station Square Park in Downtown Clearwater

    The city of Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is hosting a celebration to kick off the activation of Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St., Clearwater, from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6. The city’s CRA recently installed chairs, tables and large umbrellas at Station Square Park to encourage people to utilize the urban park in Downtown Clearwater. Please bring your lunch to the February 6 park celebration to enjoy live music and the great outdoor ambiance of Station Square Park.

  • Enjoy Family Fun at Pop-Up North Marina Community Festival January 28

    The city of Clearwater’s Planning and Development Department is hosting a free Community Festival and Kickoff celebrating Pop-Up North Marina Community Streets Experiment on Saturday, Jan. 28. The family fun event will feature walking and biking tours of the North Marina area, games for children, food trucks and music. The Pop-Up North Marina Community Festival and Kickoff will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Osceola Avenue and Seminole Street in the city’s North Marina neighborhood.

  • Blast Friday Concert Series Returns to Downtown Clearwater

    Blast Friday returns to the Cleveland Street District in Downtown Clearwater for its 7th season. This free food and craft festival kicks-off featuring a live concert starring Spyro Gyra on Friday, January 27 from 5:30 to 10 pm on the Tampa Bay Times Cleveland Street Stage. The other scheduled concerts are John Waite on February 24, Billy Joel Legends “Lords of 52nd Street” on March 31, The Fabulous Thunderbirds on April 28 and Home Cookin’ III – Greg Billings Band & The Black Honkeys on May 26.
