Due to storm conditions, the city has canceled its electronic waste, or e-waste, disposal event today at Clearwater’s Solid Waste/Recycling facility. Residents can bring their items to next month's event on Sept. 28, or items can be taken to the HEC3 center at 2855 109th Ave N, St. Petersburg. more

During the annual American Public Gas Association conference held last month, the American Public Gas Association (APGA) presented Clearwater Gas System with the prestigious Safety Management Excellence Award.
The APGA Operations and Safety Committee selected Clearwater Gas System for operating at the highest levels of excellence in the field of safety management. The award was presented at the annual conference held on July 26 in Newport, R.I.
