December Clearwater Aging Well Center Programs 

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Aging Well Center, located in the Long Center at 1501 N. Belcher Road, will host a variety of upcoming programs throughout this month. For more information or to pre-register, call the Aging Well Center at (727) 724-3070.  

Highlights include: 

Holiday Stress 
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 10 to 11 a.m. 
Leslie Noland, Community Educator Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services, will discuss the causes of stress and the holiday blues. Explore ways to better manage your stress and minimize the holiday blues. Free.  

Talk To The Hand: The Rudeness of Everyday Life 
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2 to 3 p.m. Is civility alive and well? Sheryl Graham discusses a book by Lynne Truss which reveals six categories of decline in politeness. Free. 

Pearl Harbor History 
Thursday, Dec. 6, 2 to 3 p.m. 
Davis Gandees, Volunteer for the Lutz Library, will give a brief history of what led up to the attack on Dec. 7, 1941, and a running account of the events of that day. Space is limited. Free.  

Windows 10 Keyboard Shortcuts
Tuesday, Dec. 11, 10:30 a.m. to noon.   
Explore the major keyboard shortcuts to make your use of Microsoft Win 10 and the browser EDGE easier.  Practice sheets for experience will be provided. Free.  

Acrylic Painting with Free Instruction 
Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2 to 3:30 p.m. 
Join artist Helen Demacopoulos as she teaches the art of acrylic painting with a winters dream scene. $10 (cash) materials fee to be paid to the instructor the day of the class.  Space is limited.  

The Grinch Exchange 
Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2 to 3 p.m. 
Join us in celebrating the Holidays with a fun gift exchange game. Bring a wrapped gift and let the madness begin. Maximum price limit for a gift is $10. Light refreshments and caroling are expected. Pre-registration is required. Free. 

Creative Resin-ations with Free Instruction 
Thursday, Dec. 13, 10 to 11:30 a.m.  
Artist Brigitte Minor will teach you how to make your own unique art on a frame palette. $25 (cash) materials fee to be paid to the instructor the day of the class. Space limited.
