The city of Clearwater celebrates Florida City Government WeekThe city of Clearwater will celebrate Florida City Government week from Oct. 21-27.

You can honor this special week by taking a selfie and changing your facebook profile picture to the Florida City Government Week-themed frame. To change your profile, go to . Click your profile picture in the bottom left and select your Page. Search for the frame by entering the frame’s name, “City of Clearwater Florida City Government Week” or the creator’s name, “City of Clearwater”. Click “Use as Profile Picture”.

Residents can also celebrate by visiting a Clearwater library or recreation center for one of these fun events.

Its The Great Pumpkin Book Character Contest 2019
Month of October

Create your own book character from an everyday ordinary pumpkin and have your pumpkin character displayed to the public all October long in our Discovery Studio. Come back and vote on election day, Tuesday, November 5th, for your favorite pumpkin.

Denying Gravity: A Fall Prevention Play

Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre,  405 Cleveland St
Clearwater Fire & Rescue and the Clearwater Aging Well Center are partnering with the Senior Actors Guild & Education Services Theater group (SAGES) to present a free performance of “Denying Gravity,” a fall prevention play on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. Play begins at 2 p.m.; doors open at 12:45 p.m. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater.
