Post Date:11/21/2017 12:00 PM

Tired of turkey? It’s time to focus on the Downtown Clearwater Barbecue Cook-Off.

Hall of Fame wrestler Bushwhacker Luke and his Wrestling Mates will be on hand to judge the barbecue contest, which has assembled some of the best barbecue restaurants in Tampa Bay.

The event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 along the 400 block of Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater.

The local barbecue pit masters will compete to earn the Downtown Clearwater Merchants Association title of best barbecue.

The event is free to attend and free to taste, sample and judge the barbecue.

Live musical performance by the Brian Caudill Band.

The event is sponsored by the Downtown Clearwater Merchants Association, Clearwater Development Board and the city of Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency.
