Clearwater Offering Youth Recreational Indoor Volleyball League to Teach Fundamentals of Game

This Youth Indoor Volleyball league will be held at the North Greenwood Recreation Center (900 N. MLK Jr Ave, Clearwater, FL 33755) and the Ross Norton Recreation League (1426 S. MLK Jr. Ave., Clearwater, FL 33756). The league is offered for girls and boys in grades 3 to 10.

This volleyball league is an instructional program that focuses on the fundamentals of volleyball and sportsmanship. Participants will learn basics like bumping, setting and spiking. Age, grade and skill level will determine team assignments with teams being co-ed.

Sessions will be held on Tuesdays with the possibility of adding Thursday (based on registration numbers). Sessions will run 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This includes a 45 minute practice followed by a 60-minute game, and a 15 minute cool down.
