Celebrate the Arts with Art in the Park in Downtown Clearwater

Description:  Celebrate the arts in downtown Clearwater’s Cleveland Street District this summer starting this month when the Clearwater Center for the Arts presents Art in the Park – a monthly event that will feature art, live music and artisan food every third Saturday through September. The initial free, outdoor event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at downtown Clearwater’s Station Square Park, 612 Cleveland St.

Description:  Environmental Ethics course serves as an intro to theories in ethics and seeks to provide application to environmental issues. Students will engage in dialogue to discover the underlying principles in regard to how one “ought” to act when it comes to matters related to the environment. Living Green Roofs and Walls -- A Great Strategy for the Future of Our Cities

Description:  In the most densely populated county in Florida, walls and roofs provide practical spaces to bring back the plants and animals that roads and buildings have displaced. These green roofs and walls would have enormous ecological, economic and aesthetical benefits, not just for Pinellas County but beyond -- think migratory birds, for instance.
