Clearwater Business SPARK

CWB_SPARKClearwater Business SPARK is a network to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in every stage of development so that you may easily identify and obtain the resources needed to start or grow a business in Clearwater.

Assistance is delivered through public and private partners working together to facilitate entrepreneurial, creative and small business development. Network partners include the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, city of Clearwater's Economic Development Department, Clearwater Public Library System, Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency, Florida Small Business Development Center at Pinellas County Economic Development, Florida Business Incubator (formerly known as TAFFIE), and Prospera (formerly known as Hispanic Business Initiative Fund/HBIF), Pinellas County SCORE, Tampa Bay Black Business Investment Corporation, and St. Petersburg College.

SCORE

SCORE is a volunteer counseling arm of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE offers free counseling for small business. Counselors’ experience includes: accounting, advertising, computer systems, construction, franchising, hotels, import/export, insurance, manufacturing, marketing, real estate, restaurants, retail, sales and management. The Florida Small Business Development Center at Pinellas County Economic Development connects small businesses and entrepreneurs to business resources and strategic solutions for expansion and growth.
