Fuel Dock at the Marina Reopens

The fuel dock at the Clearwater Marina is back open and fully operational with both gasoline and diesel. The hours of operation at the fuel dock currently are 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The fuel dock is currently located at commercial slip C057.

Clearwater Fuel Dock 2025

The Marine & Aviation Department operates as a revenue-producing department responsible for the operation and management of the Clearwater Beach Marina, Clearwater Harbor Marina, Island Estates Marina and Clearwater Marine Aquarium boat slips, Seminole Street boat ramps, Clearwater Beach boat ramp, Clearwater Recreation Center public day docks, and the Island Way Grill public day docks.

In addition, we maintain and oversee the Clearwater Executive Airport by way of an operating and lease agreement with our Fixed Base Operator (FBO), FlyUsa-PV, LLC.

The department is also responsible for waterway management within the city’s municipal boundaries. This includes the permitting and maintenance of over 200 navigational and regulatory markers.

The Marine and Aviation Department strives to provide a quality experience for our tenants and visitors. We welcome inquiries related to our facilities and slip availability.

Seminole Boat Ramp Commercial Use Permit

Applications(PDF, 476KB) for the Seminole Boat Ramp Commercial Use Permit for 2025 will be accepted for current permit holders beginning Dec. 2, 2024. Print the application or pick up a printed application from the temporary Harbormaster’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 410 N Myrtle Ave.

Coast Guard City

The city of Clearwater and the Marine and Aviation Department work in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard at the Clearwater Air Station near the Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport and the Sand Key Coast Guard Station just south of Clearwater Beach. With miles of coastline bordering Clearwater, this partnership is a natural step in the protection of citizens near and on local waters. For more information, click here.
