Call for Chalk Artists - Public Art Opportunities

The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is currently seeking talented chalk artists to participate in upcoming public art initiatives throughout Downtown Clearwater. This opportunity is ideal for artists with a passion for transforming outdoor urban spaces. This initiative offers an opportunity for artists to bring their creativity to life in the public sphere, transforming sidewalks and streets into vibrant, temporary works of art that engage and inspire the community. 

The city welcomes submissions from established and emerging artists experienced in outdoor art. All artists must have general liability insurance and worker’s compensation or a valid exemption to be considered. 

Artists will be added to an official roster for consideration in a variety of future chalk art projects. Selected artists will receive stipends that vary by project.
