The change in hours is a result of seeking more operational efficiency and cost savings for the library system, and in response to a higher level of activation in Coachman Park. Concerts and events at The BayCare Sound and Coachman Park regularly impact Saturday hours at the Main Library.
Patrons who like to visit the Main Library on Saturdays are encouraged to visit the East Community Library at SPC, North Greenwood, and Countryside locations instead.
The Beach Library remains closed due to damage sustained from last year’s hurricanes.
