The city of Clearwater Public Utilities Department will perform utility adjustments on Drew Street in preparation for a future Florida Department of Transportation roadway project. Work will be done on potable water, reclaim water, and sanitary sewer lines. There is currently no anticipated service disruptions for utility users.

Current Status: Work between Corona Avenue and Duncan Avenue are beginning June 15 and are anticipated to last through June 26.

Traffic impacts: A westbound lane reduction will be in place on Drew Street between Corona Avenue and Duncan Avenue, near the Keene Road intersection.

Temporary closures will affect access to Drew Street from:

• Mars Avenue
• Saturn Avenue
• Jupiter Avenue
• Duncan Avenue

This may cause temporary disruptions to solid waste and recycling collection services. Drivers should use caution in the work zone, follow posted detours and allow extra travel time.
