Drop Off Your Electronic Waste

The Clearwater Solid Waste/Recycling Department offers a monthly Electronics Collection Day for Clearwater residents on the last Wednesday of every month from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

What is Accepted?

Electronics accepted include:

  • televisions
  • cell phones
  • computer towers/CPUs
  • drives (such as hard drives and CD drives)
  • laptops
  • desktop monitors
  • smart phones
  • tablets

The city will not accept any electronics that have been scavenged.

Who Can Participate?

Clearwater residents with proof of residency, such as a utility bill or driver's license. No items from commercial entities will be accepted.

For residents who live outside city limits or who would like to recycle electronics before the last Wednesday of the month, the Pinellas County Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center accepts electronics and also offers a mobile collection service.
