The city of Clearwater Planning & Development Department has recently become aware of phishing attempts targeting customers involved in the permitting process. These fraudulent emails are designed to appear legitimate and may request payment or personal information.

Water Leaks, Breaks and Emergencies

Approximately 3:15 p.m. Aug. 11, Clearwater Public Utilities received notification of an incident associated with an ongoing force main replacement project on North Beach. The city's contractor accidentally came into contact with the main that feeds Lift Station #10 of Bohenia Circle South. There also may be a potential active sanitary-sewer overflow at the location.
