Sunset to Sparkle

A brand-new New Year's Eve tradition is coming to Clearwater Beach. Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival, in partnership with the city of Clearwater, is proud to announce Sunset to Sparkle: A Clearwater Beach New Year's Eve Celebration, scheduled for Dec. 31 at Pier 60 Park.

 

Taking place from 3 to 9:30 p.m., Sunset to Sparkle is an early, family-friendly celebration that brings holiday excitement to one of Florida's most iconic waterfront destinations. Families, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with live entertainment, local artisans, street performers, amusement attractions and festive activities for all ages.

 

The celebration will culminate with a spectacular grand finale fireworks display over Clearwater Beach at 9 p.m., allowing families to welcome the New Year together before midnight.

 

"Sunset to Sparkle is all about creating a memorable New Year's Eve experience that the entire family can enjoy," said Lisa Chandler of Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival. "Clearwater Beach is known around the world for its beautiful sunsets, and we cannot imagine a better place to celebrate the final sunset of the year and sparkle into the next one."

 

For more than 30 years, Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival has provided free, family-oriented entertainment on Clearwater Beach, showcasing talented artisans and street performers against the backdrop of the Gulf. The nonprofit organization also produces the nationally recognized Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival, presented by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, which returns March 26 through April 11, 2027.
