Community Redevelopment Agency The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is a dependent taxing district established by City government for the purpose of carrying out redevelopment activities that include reducing or eliminating blight, improving the tax base, creating and retaining employment opportunities, and encouraging public and private investments in the CRA.
North Greenwood Library The Clearwater North Greenwood Branch Library hosts the Christine Wigfall Morris African-American Collection, comprising over 4,300 items such as biographies, magazines, literature, music, and films.
Downtown Clearwater Community Redevelopment Area (DTCRA) The city of Clearwater initially established a Community Redevelopment Agency for Downtown Clearwater area in 1981. At the original inception, the Community Redevelopment Area comprised 247 acres. This area grew and was expanded eastward to include the Downtown Gateway neighborhood which increased the CRA to its current size of 488 acres.
