The city of Clearwater invites residents to Dollars to Donuts, a free, interactive community event that is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, community engagement, and public education. Join us Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Morningside Recreation Center.

This is not your typical budget meeting. The purpose of this workshop is to engage residents in a discussion about the city's preliminary FY27 budget and gather community input on Clearwater's financial picture, including revenue sources, major expenditures, capital needs, and how changes in revenue would affect service levels. Participants will receive an overview of the city's budget, learn about the essential services provided each day, and better understand how taxpayer dollars are invested to support our community's quality of life.

Through this conversation, the city seeks to understand residents' priorities, identify the services they value most, and collect feedback that will help inform future budget decisions should revenue reductions require difficult choices.
