The city of Clearwater Public Utilities Department will perform utility adjustments on Drew Street in preparation for a future Florida Department of Transportation roadway project. Work will be done on potable water, reclaim water, and sanitary sewer lines. There is currently no anticipated service disruptions for utility users.

Current Status: Potable water main construction is underway on Drew Street between Saturn Avenue and North Highland Avenue as crews continue working west from Keene Road toward Osceola Avenue.

Traffic impacts: A westbound lane is closed on Drew Street and will shift starting August 3, between Saturn Avenue and North Highland Avenue. Intersections along the work zone may close temporarily with signed detours. Short-term driveway access impacts are possible, but crews will work to minimize disruptions.

This may cause temporary disruptions to solid waste and recycling collection services. Drivers should use caution in the work zone, follow posted detours and allow extra travel time.
