Part of Courtney Campbell Pedestrian Trail Is Temporarily Closed

The south side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway pedestrian trail, from Bayshore to Dr. Kiran C. Patel boulevards, is closed to pedestrian traffic through late 2025, weather permitting. The closure began Jan. 14, 2025.

Advanced warning signs have been installed on each side of the pedestrian trail to alert the public of the closure. This closure is necessary for crews to construct the pedestrian overpass over Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard east of Bayshore Boulevard, connecting the Bayshore Trail and the Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail. Construction activities are expected to finish in late 2026.
