Water Leaks, Breaks and Emergencies

Clearwater Public Utilities crews responded to a six-inch water main break located at 990 Bay Esplanade on Clearwater Beach June 2. Crews shut down the water main at Bay Esplanade from Bruce Avenue to Laurel Street and made the repairs.

A precautionary boil water notice was in effect and has been lifted as of June 5. The precautionary boil-water order was for 70 Carlouel Dr and multiple addresses along Bay Esplanade (939, 949, 947, 949, 952, 966, 965, 970, 971, 976, 979, 978, 958, 980, 995, 990, 994,1003 and 1007). These customers can resume normal water use.

There are no other existing precautionary boil-water orders at this time for Clearwater utilities customers.
