Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot 2025
The city of Clearwater and Achieva Credit Union Present the 2025 Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot
Beloved Thanksgiving Tradition Returns Bigger Than Ever with Multiple Race Experiences, Live Entertainment, and Family Fun
Clearwater, Fla. [September 3, 2025] — The city of Clearwater and Achieva Credit Union are proud to announce the return of one of Tampa Bay’s most anticipated holiday traditions, the 2025 Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot, taking place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Clearwater High School.
For more than four decades, the Turkey Trot has been the heartbeat of Thanksgiving morning in Clearwater, drawing thousands of runners, walkers and families who kick off the holiday with a community celebration before heading home to their feasts. With Achieva Credit Union stepping in as the presenting partner, the event is keeping its rich tradition alive while adding even more festive fun for participants of all ages.
Participants of all ages and abilities can choose from three signature race options:
- 5K Timed Run — 7 a.m. start, for the more competitive runners
- 5K Fun Run — 8 a.m. start
- 1-Mile Gobbler Run — 9 a.m. start
The Fun Run and 1-Mile options offer options to bring strollers, your well-behaved dogs on leashes, and offer more of a relaxed experience than that of the timed-5K run.
Beyond the starting line, families can expect a morning packed with live music, a spirited costume contest, and a pre-race party full of games, food and entertainment.
“Thanksgiving in Clearwater wouldn’t feel complete without the Turkey Trot,” said Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector. “It’s a tradition that brings thousands together to celebrate health, gratitude and community. Partnering with Achieva Credit Union ensures this special event continues to grow and thrive for generations to come.”
“At Achieva, we believe in bringing people together, whether it’s through banking, education or events like this that create lasting memories,” said David Oak, Chief Marketing Officer at Achieva Credit Union. “We’re proud to join the city of Clearwater in keeping this tradition alive, while adding new experiences that families will remember for years to come.”
