FEMA 50% Rule Informational Meeting
The city of Clearwater will host an informational meeting Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Clearwater City Council Chambers, 100 N. Osceola Ave., to discuss the FEMA 50% rule. This rule, important for property owners post-hurricane, affects permitting and reconstruction when substantial damage occurs.
City officials will explain how the FEMA 50% rule impacts rebuilding, detail the substantial damage estimating process, and answer any questions from
residents and business owners. This is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from city staff about important regulations that may affect your property after a storm.
