The city of Clearwater will host an informational meeting Saturday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Clearwater City Council Chambers, 100 N. Osceola Ave., to discuss the FEMA 50% rule. This rule, important for property owners post-hurricane, affects permitting and reconstruction when substantial damage occurs.

City officials will explain how the FEMA 50% rule impacts rebuilding, detail the substantial damage estimating process, and answer any questions from residents and business owners. This is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from city staff about important regulations that may affect your property after a storm.
