Request a City of Clearwater Proclamation

The City of Clearwater accepts proclamation requests from eligible community organizations and for community-wide observances that recognize events, initiatives, or awareness efforts of public interest. Requests are considered from all segments of the community without regard to gender, race, ethnicity, or disability.

Proclamations are issued at the discretion of City Council to formally recognize qualifying organizations, milestones, or observances. All requests are reviewed for alignment with city guidelines and scheduling availability. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

Proclamations are not issued to individuals, for-profit businesses, political organizations, or religious organizations, except for significant milestone anniversaries such as 50- or 100-year celebrations.

Please note that the online request form cannot be saved once started. We recommend gathering all required information, including draft proclamation language, before beginning the form.
