Research Building Permits, Planning Cases and Business Tax Receipts

Step 1.Go to ePermit website

Step 2.Click on the "Building" tab

Scroll down to the light blue bar where, "Home", "Building", "Business Tax" and "Planning" is displayed. Click "Building"

Step 3.Enter the permit number

Enter the case number, e.g. FLD2012-xxxx or FLS by itself. Click "Submit".

If you don't have the case number, you can search by address by filling in those fields under "general search" or click "search by contact" in the right-hand corner and you will have the option to search by representative, architect, applicant, and other options. The less information you fill in, the better your result return will be.

Step 4.Click on the "Case Number" link to open the application

Click on the "Case Number" link to open the application. You can select "Record Info" to view case details, processing status, related records, and attachments such as application and proposed plan information.

Step 2.Click on the "Planning" tab

Scroll down to the light blue bar where, "Home", "Building", "Business Tax" and "Planning" is displayed. Click "Planning"

Step 3.Enter the permit number

Enter the permit number, e.g. MIS2022-xxxxx, TMP2022-xxxxx, or SGN by itself. Click "Submit".

If you don't have the permit number, you can search by contractor, or address by filling in either of those fields. The less information you fill in, the better your result return will be.

Step 4.Click on the "Record Number" link to open the permit

Click on the "Record Number" link to open the permit and scroll down to whichever section you are looking to research i.e. record, detail, fees, inspections, processing status, attachment, trust account.

Step 5.Print or Save Your Case Summary

To print a case summary, click on the "Reports" link on the top right-hand corner of the record and click on "Case Summary". Follow the prompts to open the PDF document to print it.

Step 2.Click on the "Business Tax" tab

Scroll down to the light blue bar where, "Home", "Building", "Business Tax" and "Planning" is displayed. Click "Business Tax"

Step 3.Enter the BTR number

Enter the BTR or REG account number just as it appears on your Business Tax Receipt or renewal notice. Click "Submit".

If you don't have the BTR number, you can search by address. The less information you fill in, the better your result return will be.

Step 4.Print or Save Your Case Summary

To print a case summary, click on the "Reports" link on the top right-hand corner of the record and click on "Case Summary". Follow the prompts to open the PDF document to print it.
