Each fall, Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the City of Clearwater host The Big Cleanup Clearwater (BCC), the city’s largest community-wide cleanup event! The BCC is a family-friendly week-long event where all residents, businesses, visitors, and community organizations are invited to participate in cleaning our parks, trails, beaches, neighborhoods, and waterways. Join us in keeping Clearwater beautiful from bay to beach! For more information on how to get involved, please contact our Program Coordinator, Megan Jackson, at mjackson@kpbcares.org.

 

Cleanup Locations Schedule:

  • Nov. 14, 8 a.m. – Clearwater Beach
  • Nov. 15, times vary based on location – Moccasin Lake Nature Park, Courtney Campbell Causeway, Belmont Park, Clearwater Memorial Causeway and the Spring Branch Neighborhood
  • Nov. 20, 9 a.m. – Ream Wilson Trail
  • Nov. 22, times vary based on location – Stevenson Creek, Moccasin Lake Pond, and Del Oro Park

The cleanups also highlight the city’s commitment to sustainability. By reducing litter, Clearwater continues to implement the goals of its Greenprint 2.0 sustainability action plan, focusing on education, awareness and community livability.
