Clearwater City Council meetings are open to the public and are held on the first floor of the Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave. at 6 p.m.

Clearwater Main Library will close at 4 p.m.

The Clearwater Main Library will close to the public at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 4, to allow staff to prepare for the City Council meeting. Meeting attendees may enter through the library’s front entrance beginning at 5 p.m.

To keep access fair, spaces in line may not be saved. Attendees may not jump the line or hold a place for another person. Anyone joining the line must go to the end of the line.

Council Chambers seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.


Citizen Comment

People who wish to speak will receive a speaker card and number. Speakers will be called by sequential numbers, and the city will alternate between support and opposition speakers.


Overflow Viewing Area

Overflow areas will be available with a live meeting feed. Attendees in overflow areas will still be able to participate in public comment if they have completed a speaker card and their number is called.
