Clearwater City Council meetings are open to the public and are held on the first floor of the Main Library, located at 100 N. Osceola Ave. at 6 p.m.

Clearwater Main Library will close at 4 p.m.

The Clearwater Main Library will close to the public at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 4, to allow staff to prepare for the City Council meeting. Meeting attendees may enter through the library’s front entrance beginning at 5 p.m.

To keep access fair, spaces in line may not be saved. Attendees may not jump the line or hold a place for another person. Anyone joining the line must go to the end of the line.

Council Chambers seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Citizen Comment

People who wish to speak on Item 6.4 will receive a speaker card and number. Speakers for Item 6.4 will be called by sequential numbers, and the city will alternate between support and opposition speakers.

Residents who wish to speak on any other agenda item or items not on the agenda will follow the city’s standard process. When the council reaches that item and asks whether anyone would like to speak, speakers may approach the podium at that time.

Overflow Viewing Area

Overflow areas will be available with a live meeting feed. Attendees in overflow areas will still be able to participate in public comment if they have completed a speaker card and their number is called.
