Notice is hereby given that the City of Clearwater (the “City”) will accept sealed letters of interests (“LOIs”) beginning on March 11, 2026 until thirty (30) days thereafter with such date being 10:00 A.M., Local Time, April 10, 2026, from persons and groups interested in acquiring the property referenced below:

A portion of certain City of Clearwater right-of-way known as Oak Avenue, bounded by Court Streeton the north and Chestnut Street on the south.

SUBMIT LETTERS OF INTEREST TO: It is recommended that LOIs are submitted electronically through our bids website at https://www.myclearwater.com/business/rfp.  Alternatively, proposers may mail or hand-deliver LOIs to the address below:

No responsibility will attach to the City, its employees, or agents for premature opening of a LOI that is not properly addressed and identified. Email or fax submissions will not be accepted. Late submittals will not be considered.

DESCRIPTION. The City seeks an eligible party to acquire the above-referenced right-of-way through a roadway transfer agreement pursuant to Florida Statutes.  For questions and more information, please contact the City’s Procurement Division by email at purchasing@myclearwater.com or visit the Procurement Division at the address listed above.  

The City shall consider all LOIs received in a timely manner. The City reserves the right to reject any or all LOIs, to waive technicalities, to readvertise, and to otherwise conduct this process in the manner it deems to be in the best interests of the public.
