Neighborhoods Day - 2024

The fourth Saturday every March is Neighborhoods Day! Mark your calendars for Neighborhoods Day in 2024 – Saturday, March 30. 

This event continues to be one of the most exciting in Clearwater year-in year-out. We have heard amazing stories about connections made this past 2023 Neighborhoods Day, with neighbors finally meeting and getting to know more about each other, or a neighbor going through a loss being cheered up by neighbors during the event. Neighborhoods Day is always a day for communities to connect and for residents to make lasting relationships that become the strengths of our neighborhoods. 

Neighborhoods Day is a team effort and has always been a great opportunity for staff to interact with residents. During the event in 2023, we had the opportunity to hear about residents' needs and issues, as well as see all the placemaking projects that each neighborhood has been able to accomplish. This event teaches us to come together to support each other's initiatives and the importance of developing relationships with the people who live and work in Clearwater.

Maintaining social connections with neighbors increases confidence and motivates people to adopt better lifestyle habits and help us all to become better neighbors. May Neighborhoods Day continue to be a great celebration in our community and part of Clearwater's identity!
