Clearwater is on central Florida's western coast, in Pinellas County. The city covers a large part of the Western border of the Pinellas Peninsula, and is nestled between the Gulf of Mexico on the west and Tampa Bay on the east. Clearwater's geographic location is latitude 27.57 North and longitude 82.48 West.
